I don't care what the other person said.me and a buddy came down last year for labor day weekend with no reservations and lucked up on finding the Shady Rest motel.we went in expecting them not to have any rooms,what do you know they did,and the price is one of the best prices i have ever found in Myrtle beach.the woman at the desk was really nice to us.this will be our motel when ever we go down.
Best Hotel In Myrtle Beach by far. Service is impeccable and in a prime location. They even gave me a complimentary hermit crab for my stay.
Older hotel for weekly rentals.mostly older folk very private no partys or guess .right by the beach
Under new owners and just keeps getting better. Now by the beach. New curtains bedding. Pool has new fencing and lounge chairs. Office getting redone and super friendly and helpful. Could ask new owners for about anything of course for extra or maybe not. Great and across the street from beach access. Very affordable and cameras everywhere for extra security. I certainly will be going back.
